We opened in Venice over 35 years ago with one simple idea. Good framing protects things you can't replace. That belief still drives every job we do.
In our experience, most framing problems start with cheap materials. Acid burns paper. UV light fades photos. We use archival materials because your artwork deserves to last.
So every frame we build is done right here in our shop. No outsourcing. No guessing. You get to see a digital preview before we cut a single piece.

We've been doing this since 1989. These four things haven't changed. We've framed oil paintings for local collectors. We've mounted jerseys for youth sports families. We've handled delicate watercolors that couldn't afford a mistake. Decades of real work taught us what holds up and what doesn't.
Honest Communication
We tell you what your piece actually needs. And we tell you why. No upsell, no pressure. If a basic mat and clear glass will do the job, we say so. If your photo is going above a fireplace, we'll point out the heat risk. If your canvas doesn't need glass at all, we tell you that too. You leave knowing exactly what you're getting and why it makes sense.
Archival Materials
We use acid-free matting and UV-protective glass on every job. These aren't upgrades. They're our baseline. Acid-free matting stops the paper from yellowing over time. UV glass blocks the light that fades ink, photos, and fabric. A diploma hung near a sunny window needs that protection. So does a child's artwork you want to keep for decades. Every piece gets the same standard.
